Sports at the Beach is a fan and family-friendly complex built to deliver an affordable, high-quality tournament experience. With 16 natural grass baseball fields and modern amenities across the property, players and families can enjoy a full day, or weekend, of baseball in one place.

Welcome Center

Welcome Center Tournament Tee Shirts

T-shirts are available by pre-order and can be ordered online and picked up at the welcome center. These shirts are one-of-a-kind and have the tournament logo on the front, with the complete listing of team names on the back. In addition to pre-ordered shirts, there will also be a VERY LIMITED supply of tournament shirts available for general sale. The Welcome Center also carries a wide assortment of sports-related and baseball favorites and is only open during weekend tournaments. We accept cash, debit and credit cards.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found area is located at the Welcome Center. Any found items will be brought here. Sports at the Beach cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Concessions

The Eatery at Sports at the Beach is located within the hub of fields 1 through 8. Two additional stands are conveniently located to provide concessions closer to fields 9 through 16. The stands open thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the first game and close at the third inning of the last scheduled game.

The concessions menu contains a wide variety of food choices including breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, nachos, soft pretzels, and much, much more. Healthier options such as salads and fruits are also available, as are a wide variety of drinks. Daily specials are also available and all food is prepared on site.

Facility Rules

In order fo SATB to provide the best Youth Baseball Tournament experience possible and to ensure that players, coaches, parents, umpires, and guests can enjoy a fun, safe and memorable time with us, it is necessary for all guests to follow the rules and regulations.

The items listed below should be followed at all times while you are on Sports at the Beach property.

Failure to do so may result in suspension of play.


  1. The first responsibility for coaches is the ballplayers. Coaches must be in visual and verbal contact with their team at all times. Teams must be kept as a unit and Individual players are not to wander around the complex unaccompanied. Each head coach / team manager on the roster is responsible for the safety of and must know all players whereabouts at all times. Any player, parent or coach leaving the complex does so at their own risk.
  2. Restricted Area signs are posted throughout the park. Coaches are responsible to ensure that players do not enter these restricted areas.
  3. Shoes are required. Bare feet are not permitted at the complex at any time.
  4. Parents/Adults are responsible for supervising children of all ages at all times.
  5. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited except in the designated beer garden.  Anyone possessing alcoholic beverages outside of the beer garden will be evicted from the property without a refund.
  6. Outside food coolers are not permitted, only One Beverage cooler per team, located in dugout is permitted.
  7. In the event of storms or heavy rain all guests should return to their vehicles until further notification.

Welcome to Sports at the Beach (SATB). To ensure a safe, competitive, and enjoyable experience for all players, coaches, and families, we require all visitors to adhere to the following policies. Entry into the facility constitutes agreement to these terms.

General Facility Rules

  • Tobacco & Alcohol: Sports at the Beach is a smoke-free and tobacco-free facility. This includes e-cigarettes and vaping. Alcohol is strictly prohibited unless within designated areas that sell alcohol (Beer Garden) during authorized events.
  • Pet Policy: For the safety of our athletes and the cleanliness of our fields, no pets are permitted inside the playing areas (with the exception of certified service animals). All dogs must remain on a leash.
  • Bicycles & Scooters: For pedestrian safety, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards are not permitted inside the gates.
  • Cooler Policy: One team cooler is permitted in the dugout. Individual player water bottles are encouraged. No outside food or glass containers are allowed inside the complex; please utilize our on-site concessions.

Tournament & Competition Policies

To maintain the integrity of play and the schedule, the following rules apply to all sanctioned tournaments:

Policy Category Regulation Details
Rosters Final rosters must be submitted online 4 days prior to the first game. Players may not play for multiple teams in the same age group.
Proof of Age Coaches must have copies of birth certificates for all players available at all times. Failure to produce documentation upon protest may result in a forfeit.
Cleat Requirement Molded cleats or turf shoes are required. Metal spikes are allowed after 13U.
Bat Regulations All bats must meet current USSSA or USA Baseball standards as specified in the tournament-specific rules.

Weather & Refund Policy

Weather in Georgetown can be unpredictable. We prioritize athlete safety above all else.

  1. Lightning Protocol: At the first sign of lightning or the sounding of our weather siren, all fields must be cleared immediately. Play will not resume until 30 minutes after the last recorded strike within a 10-mile radius.
  2. Refund Schedule:
    • Teams that purchase insurance at the time of registration will receive a 100% full refund of their tournament entry fee if the event is cancelled due to weather (provided the minimum game guarantee is not met).
    • Teams that did not purchase insurance will not receive a refund or credit in the event of a weather-related cancellation. No exceptions will be made.

Code of Conduct

Sports at the Beach maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding unsportsmanlike behavior.

  • Ejection: Any coach, player, or spectator ejected from a game must leave the facility immediately for the remainder of the day. A second offense results in a ban for the remainder of the tournament.
  • Umpire Relations: Respect the officials. Verbal abuse, threats, or physical contact with umpires will result in an immediate permanent ban from the complex.
  • Noise Makers: Air horns and sirens are prohibited as they interfere with the public address system and game-play communication.

Parking & Admission

  • Gate Fees: No gate fee.
  • Parking: Fees will be collected to park. Please park in designated lined spaces only. Vehicles parked in fire lanes, on grass, or blocking thoroughfares will be towed at the owner's expense.

Media & Photography

By entering the complex, guests grant Sports at the Beach the right to use their likeness in promotional photographs or videos. Professional photographers not affiliated with a participating team must check in at the Welcome Center for a media pass.
